We received a letter in the mail in late summer 2018 from Ken Van Santen introducing himself as a local relator, should we be interested in selling our home. Months later, having accepted a new job requiring a move out of state, we revisited that letter, and set up a meeting with Ken where he explained the process to market and sell our home. Ken provided a marketing plan and was a thoughtful listener regarding the myriad questions we had regarding the process and what we could do to make our home shine for prospective buyers. As we were on a tight schedule with our move out of state, Ken navigated our needs, such as setting up a stager to view our home and make suggestions for optimal presentation. Ken also ensured that professional photos of our home were taken with our furniture still in place prior to our move, to ensure buyers would be provided with a vision of a lived-in home, rather than the empty home they would be presented with at Open Houses and walk-throughs. After our move out of state, Ken remained in communication with us regarding setting up Open Houses and providing us with updates on the process. If we ever had a question, Ken was always available to provide an answer. Because we were out of state, we had to rely on Ken to keep a watchful eye on the property, and provide access for cleaning services and other vendors to the property. Ken would periodically check our home and with often brutal winter weather conditions, Ken ensured the property received no weather related damage such as frozen pipes. Ken is a fully engaged realtor who we would not hesitate to recommend to others or use again ourselves, should we find ourselves moving back to the area. Thanks for all your help and guidance Ken!
